Aggie MacKenzie, television presenter and journalist, will join the Product Categories judging panel for the Housewares Innovation Awards 2017.

The Awards are organised by Housewares Magazine in conjunction with Spring Fair. The event is to return to Birmingham in 2017. The ceremony will take place at the National Motorcycle Museum, one of the UK’s largest conferencing and events facilities, on Monday 6th February.

Aggie was director of the Good Housekeeping Institute in London before she was asked in 2003 to co-present Channel 4’s How Clean is Your House?

Since then she has presented two series of Storage Hoarders on ITV. Aggie currently writes on a number of domestic topics; she is the gadget tester for Delicious, writes about food and travel for Sainsbury’s Magazine and has a tips column in My Weekly. She does a regular phone-in cleaning advice slot on both Radio 5 Live and Dublin’s RTE. Aggie is a judge for the Great Taste Awards and brand ambassador for Beko in Ireland. She regularly gives talks on a range on topics, including the joy of a decluttered life. She loves to bake and, in an effort to fend off the effects of old age, is currently training to teach yoga.

Entries and nominations for the Awards are still open and for 2017, global entries are welcome too. Entering the Awards is simple. The forms are available to download via the Awards website at www.housewaresinnovationawards.com and you can choose to send the completed forms back via post, email or fax.

Entry deadline 30th September!
