The Housewares Innovation Awards 2018 will reach its pinnacle on Monday 5 February at Birmingham’s National Motorcycle Museum, as the winners are revealed at a key event on the industry calendar.
This year’s cycle saw a record number of entries and nominations come in from across the housewares sector, all demonstrating an outstanding level of innovation, creativity and excellence. The difficult task of selecting a winner for each category fell upon two specially-selected panels of industry experts, who convened in November to review the entries. After much deliberation, the decisions were made and the winners will be revealed at the hotly-anticipated Housewares Innovation Awards gala.
The evening will be hosted by film director, actor and presenter Ryan Philpott, and two major industry figures. Joe Fattorini, wine expert and star of Channel 5’s The Wine Show with almost 30 years in the wine industry, will be joined by School of Wok founder, author and TV chef Jeremy Pang to co-present the evening’s festivities.
With individuals from across the vibrant and exciting housewares industry in attendance, the evening is sure to be one to remember and an unmissable opportunity for the whole sector to gather, catch-up and celebrate the hard work and successes of the past twelve months.
A full list of winners will be published after the event at www.housewaresinnovationawards.co.uk.

Proudly supporting The Rainy Day Trust
The Housewares Innovation Awards and Housewares LIVE stand are proud to support The Rainy Day Trust. This year marks the 175th anniversary of the charity, which has been providing financial assistance to individuals from the home improvement and enhancement sectors since 1843.
Chief executive officer of The Rainy Day Trust comments on the charity’s involvement with the event: “As a charity that exists to provide ongoing support from the housewares industry, we feel it is essential that we do all that we can to encourage innovation and success within the industry. We are a safety net that exists to help when things go wrong, but actively work towards a brighter future.”
